Email: important for staying in contact with your audiences
The more contact you have with customers and prospects, the more familiar they become with you and the more likely they will come to you when they have a need you can fill. Every tech company should maintain customer/prospect lists that they email to on a regular basis.
Ideally, what you send out should be useful information, such as updates on new technology or products you’re developing. Or new applications. Or helpful insights on how to do things better. Or what you’ll be showing at an upcoming tradeshow. The main point is to give your audience job-relevant and interesting information – not just generic sales pitches.
Technical bulletins, done right, are one of the effective tools for maintaining customer contact. If they always contain fresh and helpful information your audience will look forward to reading them.
